There is Always a First Time for a Butt Cake

This week, I had the pleasure of making a butt cake for someone’s birthday celebration. You know those cakes that look like butt cheeks? Yeah, I had so much fun seeing it come together. I used a Wilton 9x13inch pan for the base of the cake and Wilton’s 3D Sports Ball Cake Pan for the cheeks. The filling I made was Vanilla Custard, which consists of vanilla extract, milk, sugar and a couple of egg yolks. As frosting, I made my very own Buttermilk Frosting before placing my homemade marshmallow fondant on top to make the cake look realistic. Because the person whose birthday it was loves Tommy Hilfiger, there was no better way to display it than to add a Tommy underwear. Here is the end result.

To shine the cake, I used shortening. What are your thoughts? Share in the comments!
